| While
the Chair of the Committe on Minority Affairs, Nancy shared the dais
with General Colin Powell. Gen. Powell spoke at the symposium in
Washington D.C. in August 1999. |
I have been a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) for
nearly 30 years. ACS membership has allowed me to network with
chemical
professionals
who have
helped me in a myriad of ways from making valuable business contacts
to getting sage advice for writing proposals.
As President, I would
work to continue to make the Society vibrant and valuable to
its members now and into the future.
